Notes and instructions

Most of these tracks are taken from live recordings or old cassette copies of albums. The live recordings were quite often taken directly from the back of the sound desk, giving a strange balance to the instrumentation. Consequently, the quality is not the highest we'd like. By the way, yes, Rainbows is in mono. It's a recording taking from a radio broadcast. Before it was edited, the first couple of notes of Reelin' in the Years, by Steely Dan, could be heard at the end.

In most cases the recordings have been tidied up using Audacity.

Left clicking on the links will probably play the track (depending on how your software is configured). To download a track, right click on a link and choose "Save Link As..." (or some such like).

I don't have details of the composers of Last Train (originally a song by The Movies). If you can help, I'd be most grateful.
