
Most of these tracks are taken from live recordings or old cassette copies of albums. The live recordings were quite often taken directly from the back of the sound desk, giving a strange balance to the instrumentation. Consequently, the quality is not the highest we'd like. By the way, yes, Rainbows is in mono. It's a recording taking from a radio broadcast. Before it was edited, the first couple of notes of Reelin' in the Years, by Steely Dan, could be heard at the end.
In most cases the recordings have been tidied up using Audacity.
